Apple TV is the home of Fraggle Rock. This holiday season, The Jim Henson Company is debuting an all-new musical special called Fraggle Rock: A Holiday Gift. This new holiday special will debut on Friday, December 4, and features an appearance by singer and actress Nicole Scherzinger.

The Jim Henson Company and Apple TV shared the following description of this new special:

When Wembley is named Spirit Captain, he sets out to spread cheer throughout the Rock — but after the Fraggles unknowingly take a cherished snow globe from Doc’s workshop, the holiday spirit begins to fade. Wembley must find the courage to return it, learning that kindness, giving and helping someone in need are the true gifts of the holidays.

Fraggle Rock: A Holiday Gift comes from the same team at The Jim Henson Company that is behind the Emmy Award-winning series Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. It is executive produced by Lisa Henson, Halle Stanford, John Tartaglia, Matt Fusfeld, Alex Cuthbertson, Arnon Milchan and Yariv Milchan. Dave Goelz and Karen Prell are co-executive producers. Harvey Mason Jr. is the executive music producer. This special is written by Fusfeld and Cuthbertson, produced by Chris Plourde, co-produced by Tim O’Brien, and directed by Tartaglia.

A Holiday Gift joins other Fraggle Rock holiday specials on Apple TV. Currently, the following holiday specials can be watched on the streaming service:

• The First Snow of Fraggle Rock
• Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock — Night of the Lights

Fraggle Rock debuted on Apple TV with the release of the original series in 2020. This was followed by Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, a new series produced by The Jim Henson Company, in 2022. Since then, there have been more seasons of Back to the Rock and also specials.
