September 30, 2026

On this day in 2006, the “Dream Along With Mickey” live musical stage show debuted at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. The 20-minute show was part of the Year of a Million Dreams campaign. Mickey and Friends celebrate the power of dreams with guests, but Donald is unconvinced. Minnie’s wish to be a princess and Goofy’s dream of becoming a pirate spark adventures with royalty, Peter Pan, and Captain Hook. When Maleficent arrives to turn dreams into nightmares, Donald helps lead the fight and discovers that dreams really do come true. [20 years ago in 2026]
