The Haunted Mansion has closed at Disneyland. This annual closure happens to allow for its transformation to Haunted Mansion Holiday. When it is completed, Jack Skellington and other characters from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas will be found throughout the beloved attraction. They will arrive with the start of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. Traditionally, this is an incredibly popular attraction during Halloween Time.

On Saturday morning, Daps Magic team member Steven stopped by Disneyland and took the following photos and video of the now-closed Haunted Mansion on its first day into its transformation. Take a look here:

Haunted Mansion Holiday is scheduled to open on August 21st and then continue to remain open through Halloween Time and then the Holidays at The Happiest Place on Earth. This will mean that fans will be able to ride aboard it through the rest of the year. When they do so, they will also get to see the new gingerbread house that is found in the ballroom.
