Halloween Screams Returns to Light Up the Night at Disneyland for Halloween Time

On Friday, August 21, 2026, Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort kicked off. This annual Halloween celebration brings back the Haunted Mansion Holiday, delicious culinary offerings, a wide variety of seasonal merchandise, and entertainment. One of the more popular entertainment offerings every year is Halloween Screams. This is a fan-favorite nighttime spectacular that sees Jack Skellington as the “Master of Scare-omonies.” He is, of course, joined by his dog Zero as they welcome many Disney Villains to the spirited celebration. During the course of the show, Disney Villains like Ursula and Maleficent appear as a medley of Disney Villain music is played with projections and fireworks bursting forth.

For the first day of Halloween Time, Daps Magic was invited by the Disneyland Resort to cover all of the offerings. The day concluded with Halloween Screams. Below is a look at the first performance of this fireworks show.

Halloween Screams will be presented on select nights during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. The specific dates that this show is being offered can be found on the Entertainment Schedule or the Disneyland app. Halloween Time continues through October 31st at The Happiest Place on Earth.
