A new cavalcade is being presented at Disneyland for the 4th of July weekend. This is one of several different patriotic entertainment offerings that can be found throughout the Disneyland Resort as Disney Celebrates America (full schedule here). The Disney Celebrates America initiative commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. The celebration includes special performances, programming, merchandise, food and beverages, and a whole lot more. One of the offerings at Disneyland is the Celebratory Cavalcade Honoring America.
The Celebratory Cavalcade Honoring America is being offered each day at Disneyland between July 3 and 5th at 1:30 PM and 2:45 PM. This is in place of the Celebrate Happy Cavalcade that has been offered daily as a part of the Disneyland 70th Celebration. The patriotic cavalcade includes Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their new Disney Celebrates America outfits. They are joined by other Disney characters, dancers, along with Jenny and Kim, who acted as emcees or announcers for this cavalcade. The first presentation of this cavalcade can be seen here:
Along with this cavalcade, there are also many other patriotic offerings happening throughout the weekend at the Disneyland Resort. In the coming days, the 1st Marine Division Band will be performing around The Happiest Place on Earth! There will also be patriotic fireworks, presentations of Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, and the newly opened Soarin’ Across America for fans to enjoy.
