The Disneyland Resort is celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States. This is part of a broader celebration across The Walt Disney Company called Disney Celebrates America. At the Disneyland Resort, there have been military bands, the opening of Soarin’ Across America, merchandise, food and beverages, photo opportunities, and even a cavalcade joining in as part of the celebration.
On Friday, July 3rd, the Disneyland Resort kicked off three days of even more celebrations. This included patriotic fireworks, a special pre-show for World of Color, and a patriotic cavalcade that runs twice a day. For many, the 4th of July is all about the fireworks. Few places in the world do better than the Disneyland Resort. Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky returned once again this year, with updated narration to celebrate this milestone anniversary. The Daps Magic team was on hand for the first showing of this nighttime spectacular. The video of this fireworks show can be seen below. This includes the projections on some of the buildings on Main Street, USA.
