On this day in 2015, ‘Bunk’d’ premiered on the Disney Channel. The series was a spinoff of ‘Jessie’ and carried over the Ross siblings – Emma, Ravi, and Zuri – this time into summer camp adventures. The kids head to Camp Kikiwaka in Moose Rump, Maine, where their parents met. Despite the kids’ lack of experience in the great outdoors and the camp’s questionable safety history, they keep pushing forward. ‘Bunk’d’ was the longest-running Disney Channel series, airing for seven seasons over nine years and eventually switching in new lead characters.
