Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind has reopened at Disney California Adventure. This comes after a multi-month closure that has seen the Pixar Pier attraction behind walls since early this year. Throughout the spring, fans have watched as this attraction has seemed to make progress toward reopening, only to seem to backtrack. Now, it has finally reopened. This attraction draws inspiration from the Pixar Animation Studios’ film Inside Out.
On Friday, Daps Magic team member Steven stopped by Disney California Adventure and experienced the newly reopened Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind. Below are photos and a video of this trip inside Riley’s brain with Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger.

Inspired by the Disney and Pixar film Inside Out, this fun family-friendly attraction invites you to step into the workplace of Riley’s Emotions—Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger.
Your adventure begins when you hop aboard one of 8 Memory Movers, each uniquely colored to evoke one of Riley’s Emotions or another exuberant character from her imagination.
You’ll find yourself surrounded by vibrant shelves packed with glowing recollections as the Memory Movers ascend in unison, fly in a circle and inspire you to create your own happy memory of this experience.
