Food is always part of the fun when visiting Walt Disney World. If you’re staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge or planning to visit to see some of the animals there, stop by The Mara for some new yummy treats. Named for a river flowing through Kenya and Tanzania, this savanna-like space serves classic entrees and grab-n’-go favorites. One bite and you’ll go wild for these Savannah-inspired sweets.
First up is the Giraffe Cake Bar. This cake bar has Malva pudding, marshmallow fluff, caramel, and a yellow cheesecake coating. This cake bar is $5.99.
Next is the Africa-shaped Sandwich Cookie. This cookie is a vanilla shortbread cookie that is sandwiched with raspberry jam, vanilla icing, and chocolate zebra stripes. This sandwich cookie is new and is $5.29.
Another yummy treat to enjoy from The Mara is the Caramel-Banana Cupcake. This cupcake is a vanilla cake with caramel-banana filling, banana buttercream, and caramel-chocolate Mickey ears. This cupcake is $6.29.
These three treats are available now at The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge at Walt Disney World.
