The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, and this time around, it’s Toy meets Tech. Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the rest of the gang’s jobs get exponentially harder when they go head-to-head with this all-new threat to playtime. Directed by Andrew Stanton, co-directed by Kenna Harris, and produced by Lindsey Collins, Toy Story 5 opens only in theaters on June 19, 2026.

The El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood is the place to see movies because there is always a fun fan event or two that happens with each movie release. There will be two Fan Events for Toy Story 5 – one for Thursday Opening Night, June 18, and a Friday Fan Event on June 19. Before each screening of Toy Story 5, you’ll see Jessie, Woody, and Buzz on stage.
There are two ticket options for Thursday Opening Night. The first is the Trailblazer Pack. For $63 a person, you get Priority Entry, Reserved Ticket, Toy Story 5 Hat, Collectible Tin with popcorn, Fountain Drink, and an Event Credential. A General Ticket is also available for $38 per person. This includes Reserved Ticket, Popcorn, Fountain Drink, and Event Credential. All fees are included in ticket pricing.
The second Fan Event will happen on Friday, June 19, at 7 pm. There are also two ticket options for the Friday Fan Event. The first is the Rootin’ Tootin’ Pack. There is also a General Ticket for $38 a person. This includes a Reserved Ticket, Popcorn, Fountain Drink, and Event Credential. All fees are included in ticket pricing.
Even if you aren’t able to attend either of the Fan Events, there are still screenings of Toy Story 5 happening at the El Capitan Theatre.
