Another behind the scenes look at Disneyland Handcrafted has been released. This time, the focus is on the music and soundtrack featured in the documentary. Music adds to any film or documentary, and is often an important part of that story.
In this behind-the-scenes featurette, Reynolds shares his creative process behind the music, exploring how themes of imagination, innovation, and craftsmanship shaped the soundtrack. Drawing inspiration from the sounds of the craftsman and workers who built Disneyland, and the designs that Walt and his team imagined, the score combines sweeping orchestral melodies, pulsing modernist energy, and intimate moments of reflection to capture the spirit of a place where impossible ideas became reality.
Recorded by musicians from across the globe, the soundtrack was designed to honor both the wonder of Walt Disney’s vision and the many extraordinary hands who helped him along the way.
Disneyland Handcrafted is available to stream on Disney+ and for free on the Disney Parks YouTube channel.
