The Disney Parks and Disney Parks Blog are celebrating Halfway to the Holidays. As part of this multi-day celebration, Disney has been teasing that there are announcements that will be made this week. On Monday, it was teased that there would be announcements made starting today. Today, it turned out that there weren’t any specific announcements. Instead, there were four clues revealed. These clues came in the form of themed stockings hung by a digital chimney with care. Below are the stockings and their clues. On the Disney Parks Blog, clicking on each stocking opens the clue.
- Kermie – Where once there was space, now a stocking appears, with a jingle of bells softly ringing in ears
- Mickey Mouse – The second now joins, the mystery grows, with three little shapes that everyone knows
- Figment – The third now appears, the pattern expands, with a festival of wonder from faraway lands
- Minnie Mouse – Now four stockings shine where the clues once were few, with holiday treasures made just for you
A glance at these clues seems to indicate that the announcements will begin on June 24th, exactly six months from Christmas Eve. This is confirmed by an announcement on top of the Disney Parks Blog that says:

A Festive Stocking Surprise Awaits
The stockings are hung by the chimney with care,
Just tap on each one… there’s a clue hiding there!
A sprinkle of magic, a festive preview,
With secrets revealed on June 24 for you
It also appears that the stockings are teasing announcements for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney Jollywood Nights, EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and food/merch for the holidays. These announcements could include party dates for the holiday parties, offerings for the parties and in the parks, and also specifics about some of the food, beverage, and merchandise offerings that are coming this year. It would also be unsurprising if there is a reveal of a novelty bucket or sipper.
These teasers also seem to be focusing primarily on holiday offerings of Walt Disney World Resort. There may also be announcements made for the Disneyland Resort, beyond food, beverage, and merchandise announcements. It is also possible that there is a look at past holidays in the Disney parks as well.
