New Experience at Disneyland Allows Younglings to Build Lightsabers at Savi’s for Free

A new experience has been announced as a part of Kids Rule Summer at the Disneyland Resort. The Force is strong with this experience, which also includes new missions for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, the expanded timeline of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the return of the BDX Droids, Bluey’s Best Day Ever!, and a whole lot more! This new experience happens in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Savi’s Workshop Reclaimed & Reforged Lightsaber Building Experience

The Youngling Saber Building Expo – A Loth-Cat Crew Experience will allow young fans of the Force and their families the chance to learn how to build a lightsaber. This complimentary experience begins on May 22nd and will be available for a limited time at Black Spire Outpost.

Here are some details to know about this experience:

This is an experience that is aimed at younglings ages 3-9
Younglings must be accompanied by an adult
Kids (and kids at heart) can experience the joy of participating in a lightsaber-building adventure and becoming new members of the Loth-Cat Crew (as capacity allows daily)
This is an interactive experience only. A lightsaber is not included with participation.
There will be the option to purchase their lightsaber that was built at the end of the experience.

More details (including dates and times) for this limited-time offering will be available on Disneyland.com/SavisWorkshop starting on May 22nd. This will also include lightsaber pricing.

This new offering comes as the Disneyland Resort celebrates Kids Rule Summer. Throughout the summer, there is a renewed focus by The Happiest Place on Earth on families with young children. This includes special ticket offerings (Disneyland.com/offers), children-focused activities and experiences, and fun foods that are aimed at young ones (check out the Bluey-inspired foods and beverages here). With these offerings, Disney is creating more offerings for families with young kids and also making a trip to the Disneyland Resort more affordable.
