Conan O'Brien Hosts 2025 Oscars

Conan O’Brien to Host 2027 Oscars

On March 14, 2027, the Oscars will return. With their return will come the return of Conan O’Brien as the host for the third time in a row. O’Brien won’t be the only member of the team returning, however. Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan will be returning for their fourth year as the executive producers. O’Brien’s producers, Jeff Ross and Mike Sweeney, will also be returning for a third stint as producers.

“We are thrilled to be working again with Conan, Raj, Katy, Jeff and Mike for the 99th Oscars,” Kramer and Howell Taylor said in a joint statement. “They are an incredible team and have produced such captivating, entertaining and heartfelt shows over the last two years. We are so grateful for their ongoing partnership as we honor our global film community — and we look forward to Conan superbly leading the celebration with his brilliance and humor.”

Conan O’Brien’s performances as the host for the Oscars have been generally viewed favorably. Although the ratings did go down in his second year of hosting over the first, this clearly didn’t stop him from being asked once again to take on the hosting gig.

“Conan has created remarkable energy around The Oscars,” Disney Television Group President Craig Erwich said in a statement. “His singular comedic voice makes Hollywood’s biggest night one of the most entertaining celebrations of the year. We’re proud to welcome him back and look forward to what he and the producing team deliver next.”

The Oscars will air on ABC and Hulu, live from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday, March 14, 2027, at 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM PT. Disney will be broadcasting the Oscars through its 100th edition in 2028. This will be followed by a move to YouTube the following year.
