Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Final Trailer

The Mandalorian and Grogu Official Description

The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu. Directed by Jon Favreau, Star WarsThe Mandalorian and Grogu is written by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni and Noah Kloor, and is produced by Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, with Karen Gilchrist, John Bartnicki, and Carrie Beck serving as executive producers. The music is composed by Ludwig Göransson.

There are some great connections to the bigger Star Wars story included in this trailer. This includes hearing Yoda’s Theme as Grogu is meditating in the forest, along with seeing Zeb from Star Wars Rebels. It also further positions where Mando and Grogu are in the galaxy and what they do. On top of that, Colonel Ward (Sigourney Weaver) gets shown more as she strives to protect the peace that was so hard-won in the age of the New Republic.

The Mandalorian and Grogu will hit theaters on May 22, 2026. It stars Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, and Jeremy Allen White and is directed by Jon Favreau.

Tickets will go on sale for this film starting on Friday, April 17, at 6:00 AM PT at Fandango or wherever tickets are sold.
