‘Zootopia 2’ to Arrive on Disney+ on March 11

Zootopia 2 will soon be slithering its way onto Disney+. Today, Disney revealed that the popular sequel will be arriving on its premiere streaming service on March 11, 2026. The film was originally released in theaters in March.

The film sees Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde again teaming up for another adventure. This time, they go on an undercover escapade that takes audiences into some hidden corners of the metropolis. Since the film was released on November 26, 2025, it has received the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Feature, shattered box office records, and, among them, became the highest-grossing animated Motion Picture Association (MPA) release of all time, with $1.85 billion worldwide. It is also the eighth-highest-grossing film ever and the #1 domestic release of 2025. This is also the fifth film from Walt Disney Animation Studios to surpass $1 billion globally. This is a landmark achievement in the studio’s storied history. This success is accompanied by the love of both audiences and critics.

Zootopia 2 is also an Academy Award nominee that is full of humor, heart, and world-class animation. It also features the new single Zoo, performed by Shakira, and a sweeping original score by Michael Giacchino.

To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.
