At Destination D23 this last weekend, there were some fun updates shared about quite a few different projects from the Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line. Throughout the course of the weekend, the D23 team took attendees on a trip around the world with looks at Disney globally from the past, the present, and also looking forward to the future. One of the places that was visited a couple of times throughout the weekend was Disneyland Paris.
During a panel on the Disney Castles, a video was shared that looked at two of the newer castles coming to the Disney Parks. These are found in what will be Disney Adventure World. They are the Arendelle Castle and Elsa’s Ice Palace along the North Mountain in the World of Frozen.
A video with Michael Den Dulk, Portfolio Creative Director, shared a look at the progress being made on both of these castles and the World of Frozen. In the video, Dulk also revealed that the new area will be opening at Disneyland Paris in the spring of 2026. Check out the video here:
The World of Frozen is part of a major transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park to Disney Adventure World. While currently known as Walt Disney Studios, in 2026 the park is scheduled to take on its new name.
