Sleeping Beauty Castle Sculpture Begins to Take Shape in Esplanade at Disneyland Resort

Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration begins on May 16, 2025. It continues through the summer of 2026. When it starts, a 50-foot sculpture of Sleeping Beauty Castle will be found in the middle of the Esplanade between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort on Friday, May 1st, saw that this sculpture is beginning to come to life.

Earlier in the week, walls went up around the center of the Esplanade where this sculpture will be placed. Now, things are going vertical for this sculpture. Clocky of Sent From Disneyland was at the park on Friday and took the following pictures of the start of this sculpture. Take a look at the photos he took of its progress here:
