On this day in 1985, ‘Dumbo’s Circus’ premiered on the Disney Channel. The show was filmed in live action with human-sized puppets. It was loosely based on the ‘Dumbo’ animated feature from 1941, but with all-new friends for Dumbo. In the show, the famous elephant has grown up and can speak.
