There is an exciting time just before a milestone celebration begins where things begin to change in the parks. That is exactly what is happening at the Disneyland Resort currently. Each day, it seems, new decorations are appearing around the resort ahead of the start of Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration on May 16, 2025. This celebration will continue through the summer of 2026. As the start date gets nearer, there are new decorations popping up in Downtown Disney District, Main Street, U.S.A., and now also Sleeping Beauty Castle! Up in the skies, Monorail Red also now has a new look as a part of the celebration!
Sleeping Beauty Castle now has a vibrant new crest that celebrates this milestone of seven decades of Disney magic in Anaheim. The new crest adorns the castle above the drawbridge for guests to see as they enter Fantasyland. The Daps Magic team stopped by Disneyland on Wednesday to check out this new crest. There are many other decorations appearing throughout the Disneyland Resort. New merchandise also is arriving.
