New Trailer Released for Season Two of ‘Doctor Who’

Season two of Doctor Who is almost here. Ahead of the return of The Doctor for new adventures, a new trailer has been released. The new trailer shows new adventures, a new companion, a new mission to get her home, new challenges, and an animated new look for The Doctor. Check it out here:

Season two of Doctor WHO will arrive on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 12:00 AM PDT on Disney+, where available. In the United Kingdom, it will air exclusively on BBC and BBC iPlayer. The season includes 8 episodes which will air on a weekly basis.

Along with the new trailer, a new poster was also revealed for this season of Doctor Who.

Doctor Who Season Two Synopsis

The Doctor meets Belinda Chandra and begins an epic quest to get her back to Earth. But a mysterious force is stopping their return and the time-traveling TARDIS team must face great dangers, bigger enemies and wilder terrors than ever before.

The new season stars Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor, Varada Sethu as Belinda Chandra, and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. Previously announced guest cast includes Rose Ayling-Ellis, Christopher Chung, Rylan Clark, Alan Cumming, Anita Dobson, Freddie Fox, Michelle Greenidge, Jonah Hauer-King, Ruth Madeley, Jemma Redgrave and Susan Twist. Russell T Davies is showrunner, executive producer and writer. Additional executive producers are Joel Collins, Phil Collinson, Julie Gardner, and Jane Tranter. Doctor Who is produced by Bad Wolf, with BBC Studios for Disney Branded Television and BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
