On this day in 1950, actor, comedian, and writer Martin Short was born. Short has a long list of Disney connections, from films and television to the theme parks. Some of his most notable Disney roles were in ‘Father of the Bride’ parts I and II, ‘The Santa Clause 3,’ and ‘Treasure Planet.’ He also hosted the ‘O Canada!’ Circle-Vision 360° film and ‘The Making of Me’ at EPCOT.
