More news continues to be released about Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away Parade that will be arriving at Magic Kingdom later this summer. This will be the first time that Magic Kingdom will have a nighttime parade since the Main Street Electrical Parade ended its last run at the park in 2016.
A float featuring Asha and Valentino from Wish is set to debut in Disney Starlight, which would make this the first time that Asha and friends would be part of a Disney Parks parade. There was a meet and greet with Asha offered at Disneyland in 2023 and 2024. Asha continues to meet and greet guests at EPCOT in World Showcase Plaza.

The concept art features Asha standing on a glowing tree branch that is adorned with illuminated flowers and leaves. Valentino, Asha’s three-week-old pet goat, is also on the float near the edge of a branch. Beside Asha is Star, and the base of the float swirls with glowing purple, blue, and white lighting effects.
When the parade was first announced during the Disney Experiences presentation at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event last summer, guests were shown concepts of Blue Fairy from Pinocchio, Peter Pan and Wendy from Peter Pan, and Elsa from the Frozen franchise all in the parade as well. Mirabel, Isabela, and Bruno from Disney’s Encanto were also shown.
During the D23 Brazil Event last fall, concept art of a Moana float was shown. In January, a Disney Princess float inspired by Mary Blair’s art was announced. A few weeks ago, concept art of a Coco float was revealed.
