On this day in 1914, voice actor, singer, and Disney Legend Thurl Ravenscroft was born. Often recognized as the voice of Tony the Tiger and the singer of “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” Ravenscroft also had a deep connection to Disney. He lent his bass voice to multiple attractions, with favorites including The Haunted Mansion, The Country Bear Jamboree, and Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. His Disney film credits cover over three dozen classics!
