On this day in 1914, voice actor, singer, and Disney Legend Thurl Ravenscroft was born. Often recognized as the voice of Tony the Tiger and the singer of “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” Ravenscroft also had a deep connection to Disney. He lent his bass voice to multiple attractions, with favorites including The Haunted Mansion, The Country Bear Jamboree, and Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.
