Duffy and Friends Play Days are coming to the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort from February 21 to May 7, 2025. During this time, Duffy fans will get to celebrate their favorite bear and his friends throughout the park and beyond in many different ways. Ahead of the arrival of this celebration of all that is Duffy, the Disney Parks Blog shared six reasons why nobody will want to miss Duffy and Friends Play Days. Check them out here:
1. All Aboard Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad
In honor of this spectacular spring celebration, Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad will transform into a colorful Duffy and Friends-themed train. Yes, you heard that right! A Duffy and Friends-themed train!
Prepare to be whisked away on a magical journey through the park, complete with vibrant bunting and playful confetti for the perfect festive atmosphere. Along the way, you’ll be able to spot Duffy and Friends who are depicted as if they’re peeking out and traveling alongside everyone aboard.
2. Duffy and Friends in All-New Spring Outfits
Spring has almost sprung and Duffy and his Friends are breaking out new looks to celebrate the season. You can find these lovable friends in their spring outfitsover at the Castle of Magic Dreams, where the stage will be transformed into a colorful picnic setting for the show, “The Joy of Sharing.” You can also visit with them at Duffy and Friends Play House or catch the“Adventure Together” celebration moment at Main Street Station.
3. Picture Perfect Photo Spots
There are new photo spots to discover all around Hong Kong Disneyland! Special seats for your plush have been set up in iconic locations, including the Castle of Magical Dreams, Main Street Station, Adventureland, Grizzly Gulch and Mystic Point.
Over at Town Square, there’s an all-new floral arrangement featuring Duffy in a train conductor outfit and figurines of Duffy and Friends on display, plus there’s an all-new Duffy-themed flower bed at Main Street Station.
4. Sweet Treats Galore
It’s sweet treats galore to celebrate Duffy and Friends! From the Giant Ice Cream Sundae at Main Street Corner Cafe Hosted by Coca-Cola to the Double White Peach Flavored Soft Serve at Midtown Delights, you won’t want to miss these mouth-watering delights. For fans of popcorn buckets, there’s even a new CookieAnn Train Popcorn Bucket! The tasty journey extends to the resort hotels too, where you can enjoy the Duffy and Friends Springtime Afternoon Tea at World of Color Restaurant or new spring-themed desserts at the Enchanted Garden Restaurant buffet.
5. All-New Spring Merchandise
We’re big fans of Duffy and Friends merch around here, and we might need to hop on a flight to Hong Kong to grab a few items from the new “Duffy and Friends Sweet Springtime Explorations” series. From key chains to bag charms and headbands, we need, well, one of EVERYTHING!
6. Celebrate from Day to Night at Resort Hotels
The Duffy and Friends fun doesn’t end at the parks —you can continue the celebration over at the resort hotels! There are tons of activities to choose from, from cookie and cake decorating classes to a charming Starlight Picnic filled with themed treats. There’s even a themed Lounge & Play experience at Disney Explorers Lodge where you can relax with snacks and create a DIY Duffy and Friends travel photo album pack.
