It is a bit baffling that the card celebrating 1975 did not feature America on Parade. Although it kicked off a year before America’s bicentennial, it ran for fifteen months and for many, was the greatest parade in Disneyland park history. Card 21 instead featured Mission to Mars, a somewhat pedestrian upgrade of Tomorrowland’s aging Rocket to the Moon attraction, which had been made obsolete when NASA actually sent a rocket to the moon… six years earlier.
