Disney announced today that Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will be getting a new look both inside and out. The award-winning restaurant will be taking its dining experience to a whole new level. The new look promises to be exquisite and a celebration of the Craftsman design that also is influenced by modern Californian luxury and approachability.
The updated restaurant will have rustic elegance and be a tapestry of California’s history of wine and the process of making wine. It will use natural resources including reclaimed French oak for flooring and columns. This is the type of wood that is utilized to make wine barrels. There will also be hand-pinged artisan metals, leathers, and deep colors of cabernet found throughout the restaurant. A new eye-catching chandelier that is inspired by California’s Mission grapevines will also be found in the restaurant when the changes are completed.
The Napa Rose will also be expanding its counters around the exhibition kitchen. This will allow for more chef’s counter dining. This is already an incredible experience at this restaurant and will offer it to more people. Outside, the patio, which is already gorgeous, will be enhanced with more seating. This will create opportunities for al fresco dining. There will also be two new fireplaces added to the area. This will add to the charm of the area and also provide some heat!
To accommodate the changes, Napa Rose will be closing temporarily this spring. It will remain closed throughout the summer and is expected to reopen in the fall of 2025.
Napa Rose is known for its refined California cuisine. It utilizes incredible ingredients. When it reopens, it will introduce a new menu. There will still be some favorites from the current menu, however. This includes the Smiling Tiger Salad and the incredible wine collection that includes over 1,500 labels.
