On this day in 2015, the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks show returned for the first time since its initial run between 1958 and 1996. Disney’s original nighttime spectacular was presented during the months between the holidays and Disneyland Forever’s debut during the park’s 60th anniversary Diamond Celebration. The legendary show was added by Walt Disney to keep guests entertained in the evening. Cast members used to manually launch the hand flares! [10 years ago in 2025]
