Lunar New Year at Disneyland Resort 2025 is now being celebrated! This happy time of year sees entertainment, merchandise, food, and beverages that honor the traditions of China, Vietnam, and Korea. It is full of fun things to do and experience. Lunar New Year at Disneyland Resort continues through February 16, 2025.

Lunar New Year Celebration Sip and Savor Pass Disneyland Resort 2025

On the first day of the celebration, the Daps Magic team was on hand to check out all of the offerings (there are a lot of delicious ones that will be discussed on Geeks Corner on Tuesday night at 8:30 PM PT). Mr. Daps had the opportunity to interview Disneyland representative Rachel about the offerings during Lunar New Year. Check out the interview here and then read about the highlights below!

Highlights of Lunar New Year at Disneyland Resort 2025

  • Mulan’s Lunar New Year Processional
  • Meilin Lee and her mother Ming Lee from Pixar Animation Studios’ Turning Red
  • “Hurry Home – A Lunar New Year Celebration ahead of World of Color – ONE
  • Live entertainment performances at Paradise Garden Bandstand and Sonoma Terrace. These offerings celebrate Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures through music and dance. Performers like a capella group Vocal Seoul and traditional Chinese musician Jie Ma will be found at these locations.
  • Lunar New Year Wishing Wall, plus Chinese calligraphy demonstrations by local artisans at Paradise Gardens.
  • Mulan and Mushu, Goofy, Mickey Mouse, and Minnie Mouse are meeting at the Gazebo in Paradise Gardens.
  • Complimentary festival crafts will be available on the Performance Corridor, across from Golden Vine House.
  • Confectionary display at Grand Californian Hotel & Spa Great Hall along with live performance groups on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, or Story Time with Mulan on Mondays and Saturdays.
  • Lunar New Year: Year of the Snake merchandise collection and Magic Key exclusive merchandise.
  • Lunar New Year food and beverage offerings throughout Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney District, and the Hotels at Disneyland Resort.
  • Sip & Savor passes allow for six digital coupons that can be redeemed for select food or nonalcoholic beverages from participating marketplaces and select dining locations in Disney California Adventure.
