A Complete Unknown arrives in theaters on December 25, 2024. Ahead of its arrival, the original motion picture soundtrack has been released on digital streaming platforms. It has Timothée Chalamet, Monica Barbaro, Edward Norton, and Boyd Holbrook performing favorite tunes that fans of Bob Dylan will recognize.
This soundtrack from the cast of A Complete Unknown was something that was always meant to be possible with the making of this film. Director James Mangold said, “To me, there was only one way to make this film — to cast actors that are profoundly talented, ambitious (and brave enough!) to inhabit the whole of the artists they would portray. And in order to inhabit that world those artists had to be able to sing the songs. We were never out to replace the power, beauty and majesty of what exists, but rather, to celebrate it.”
Now that celebration can be heard in the form of a soundtrack ahead of the arrival of this movie. On January 24th, a limited-edition vinyl version of the album will be released as well.
The tracklist for the album is quite extensive and can be seen below. The full album can also be listened to here:
