Walt Disney Studios is transforming into Disney Adventure World. When the transformation is completed in 2026, the park will take its new name. Guests who visit will notice the difference the moment they enter the park as the entrance is also being transformed.
Upon entering the turnstiles, guests will notice the difference as they are transported into a vibrant, contemporary open-air movie studio before they become special guests of a glamorous film premiere. This will be happening in the heart of Hollywood on a starry night. This will lead them to be able to discover fully immersive worlds that put them in the middle of their favorite Disney, Marvel, and Pixar stories.
A New Entrance Experience
Inside the former Disney Studio 1 soundstage, a new entrance experience will be transformed and renamed World Premiere. It will reopen in the spring of 2025 and include new décor, refurbished spaces, and a new story that pays homage to historic movie theaters in Hollywood and the entertainment industry.
World Premiere will basically be the park’s Hollywood Boulevard. This will be complete with palm trees and stars on the ground. There will also be a collection of different facades of famous Hollywood cinemas.
Throughout the sets, there will be multiple nods to Los Angeles, Disney, and other park experiences. A skyline will serve as the backdrop for the building and will be enhanced by dynamic projection effects.
Disney fans will recognize the facade of the historic Animation Building at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank as they stroll through. Behind the windows in the building, there will be the shadows of animators’ offices visible. The animators themselves will have already left the offices to join the red carpet for the film premiere being held at the World Premiere. Shopping and Dining
Continuing to the end of the central alley, guests will find the facade of the Disney Theater. It will have a majestic illuminated sign inviting guests to continue to explore Disney Adventure World and fully experience the stories of their favorite films.
There will be a variety of experiences to be enjoyed at World Premiere. This will include the opportunity to dine under the stars at any time in the elegant “outdoor” setting of The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant. This will be a quick-service restaurant. The Searchlight kiosk will have a variety of snacks and hot and cold drinks available as well for guests to grab and go as they explore World Premiere and then Disney Adventure World.
There will also be a place to go shopping as well. Mickey of Hollywood Boutique is the must-visit shopping destination for guests. This establishment is inspired by the American department stores of the 1920s. Guests will find a wide selection of products inspired by Disney stories brought to life in the park’s immersive worlds. Mickey Mouse will also be celebrated through multiple nods to him found in the location’s Art Deco-inspired décor. This will include the wallpaper, furniture, and even the costumes worn by the Cast Members. The centerpiece of the shop will be a beautiful golden statue of Mickey Mouse. This statue was designed by legendary Disney animator Eric Goldberg.
Outside World Premiere
Continuing outside the building, guests will find themselves in World Premiere Plaza. This is an area that brings together theatres that are currently celebrating Disney Animation and Pixar stories in a stylish setting.
The former central square is being worked on by Walt Disney Imagineering Paris teams to create this new dynamic and warm environment. The surroundings will be revealed gradually ahead of the opening of the park’s major extension in 2026. This is when the new name, Disney Adventure World, will be launched.
A video was released by Disneyland Paris sharing about the work being done on World Premiere ahead of its opening in the spring of 2025. This is one chapter of several in the transformation of Disney Adventure World that will include the opening of the expansion and World of Frozen in 2026.
