Bluey is Heading to the Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line

Bluey, the incredibly popular blue heeler dog, who lives with her Mum, Dad, and her little sister, Bingo, is heading to the Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line. Disney Experiences announced today that the character will be appearing at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, and also the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

Bluey, Bingo, Bandit (Dad) and Chilli (Mum).

January 2025 will see Bluey aboard Disney Cruise Line voyages that originate from Australia and New Zealand. Guests aboard these cruises will be able to interact with both Bluey and her sister, Bingo, like never before. This will include special meet-and-greets, an interactive and clue-filled game that ends in a dance party that features Bluey’s signature dance movies, and more.

“Bluey has become a household name for families around the world and we are thrilled to bring her story to life in new ways. We can’t wait to watch our youngest guests and their families make memories with Bluey in our parks and on our cruises,” said Josh D’Amaro, Chairman, Disney Experiences.

Ludo Studio, added, “It’s a lovely day to go boat riding’ and we’re incredibly excited that Bluey and Bingo will be sailing on Disney Cruises, bringing Bluey’s magic to families on the high seas!” 

The news of Bluey’s arrival in the Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line comes after it was announced that a Bluey feature film is in the works. Bluey producers, the multiple Emmy Award-winning Ludo Studio, are working with BBC Studios and Disney on multiple activations that will be enjoyed by fans. The specific details about Bluey and her family’s arrival at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will be revealed in the coming months.

Disney is continuing to expand its relationship with BBC Studios in regards to Bluey. The new deal between the two companies sees Disney acquiring the global theatrical rights for the upcoming film. The Bluey movie will be produced by Ludo Studio in collaboration with BBC Studios. It is set to arrive in theaters in 2027 under the Disney banner. It will then make its way to Disney+ and air on ABC, view, and ABC Kids in Australia after its theatrical release.

Bluey is the most-watched series globally on Disney+ in 2024. It’s available in over 140 countries. In the United States, the series had over 50.5 billion minutes watched. This is over 842 million hours! The show has received multiple awards including a 2024 Peabody Award and back-to-back Television Critics Association Awards in 2023 and 2024.
