Pirates of the Caribbean-themed Tavern

New Look at Magic Kingdom’s Pirates of Caribbean-Themed Tavern Revealed at D23 Brazil

A Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern will be opening at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort next year. This was originally announced during Destination D23 2023. At D23 Brazil – A Disney Experience, new concept art was revealed. It shows another look at what this tavern will be like when it opens at Walt Disney World Resort in 2025.

When it was originally announced, the Disney Parks Blog described it as saying, “Here, bandits and buccaneers-to-be from every corner of the seven seas are welcome to join together and raise a toast to the pirate life! In the newly released artwork, X marks the spot for a sea-worthy selection of grogs and grub inside this tavern location coming to Magic Kingdom Park.” Earlier concept art showed a tavern that looked to be straight out of Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

During a parks panel hosted by Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro, a new piece of concept art was revealed for this Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern. It shows a different perspective on the tavern, perhaps looking in the opposite direction from the original. It could also be in another room in the tavern if that exists.
