Today Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro headlined the Disney Parks panel at D23 Brazil – Disney Experience. During this event, there were some new details revealed about some of the announcements made earlier this year at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. One of the announcements was the reveal of concept art for a Moana-themed float for the upcoming Disney Starlight parade.
Disney Starlight will be a brand-new night parade that is coming to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. This parade will be making its debut at Walt Disney World in the summer of 2025. It will continue the legacy of nighttime parades that began with the Main Street Electrical Parade.
The new concept art for the Moana-inspired float shows Moana sailing into the night aboard her boat. It appears that Pua and Hei Hei are also on board the boat. Take a look at the concept art here:
Disney Starlight concept art that was already shared at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event showed Mirabel, Isabela, and Bruno from Disney’s Encanto, along with the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio, Peter Pan and Wendy from Peter Pan, and Elsa from the Frozen franchise all in the parade as well.
The reveal of this concept art was just one announcement of many made today at D23 Brazil. Daps Magic will be sharing more information from this event over the weekend. The original announcement for Disney Starlight was made during A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences and Products at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. It can be seen here:
