The Disneyland Resort is teasing the return of the popular Paint the Night parade. In a video that shows Mack from the Cars franchise in his Paint the Night form, the question is asked “When can we do this again?” Fans of the parade immediately recognize this as part of the main theme song for this modern electrical parade.
Paint the Night originally debuted at the Disneyland Resort on May 22, 2015, as part of its 60th anniversary celebration. It debuted during a 24-hour night at Disneyland Resort. In 2018, the parade moved to Disney California Adventure. Because of height restrictions at Disney California Adventure, the parade was slightly modified for this park. A new float themed to The Incredibles was added to the parade to celebrate the release of Pixar’s Incredibles 2. The parade had its final performance in November 2018 at Disney California Adventure.
