Details About Two New Characters Revealed for ‘Star Trek: Section 31’

Star Trek: Section 31 will be arriving on Paramount+ on January 24, 2025. This original Star Trek movie that will be going straight to the streaming service has Michelle Yeoh returning as Emperor Philippa Georgiou. This is a role she originated in Star Trek: Discovery. Georgiou joins a secret division of Starfleet that is tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets. She also must face the sins of her past, of which there is no shortage.

Ahead of the arrival of this movie in January, more details are slowly being released. Two characters from Section 31 have been shared on Instagram along with some details about them. Below is a look at these operatives that will be seen in this film.

FUZZ (THE MANIAC)

Fuzz can switch from hysterical laughter to filter-free anger at the drop of a dime.

He’s a fun-loving guy until he isn’t. Just don’t suggest anger management sessions to this Section 31 operative.

MELLE (THE LOVER)

While most Deltans take an oath of celibacy upon joining Starfleet, Melle uses her irresistible magnetism for Section 31’s benefit. After all, she’s in a league of her own.

More character cards will be released leading up to the arrival of Star Trek: Section 31 on January 24, 2025.

Star Trek: Section 31 also stars Omari Hardwick (Power), Kacey Rohl (Hannibal), Emmy winner Sam Richardson (Ted Lasso), Sven Ruygrok (One Piece), Robert Kazinsky (Pacific Rim), Humberly Gonzalez (Ginny & Georgia) and James Hiroyuki Liao (Barry). Miku Martineau (Kate) portrays a young Philippa Georgiou. It is written by Craig Sweeny and directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi. Alex Kurtzman, Craig Sweeny, Aaron Baiers, Olatunde Osunsanmi, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, and Michelle Yeoh are executive producers. It is being produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment.
