Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration is the parade that debuted as a part of Pixar Fest at the Disneyland Resort. This parade celebrates the Pixar stories that remind people that they are better when they come together. The parade included moments from Turning Red, Luca, Soul, Inside Out, and more!

Disney Live Entertainment is casting roles for Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. Candidates local to Southern CA are needed to portray the role of Joe Gardner (from Disney-Pixar’s Soul).
It appears that the Disneyland Resort is looking for the following characters currently for Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration:
- Joe Gardner (Soul)
- Miriam (Turning Red)
- Priya (Turning Red)
- Abby (Turning Red)
- The Members of 4*TOWN (Turning Red)
- Jin Lee (Turning Red)
- Inline Skater
The characters that are being sought out for Better Together are the face characters and skaters that are seen in this parade. They also are the same group that was cast last year when the parade originally debuted. What isn’t included in the casting calls are the performers who appeared on bicycles. At this time, there have been no official announcements about the return of Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration.
Better Together ran during Pixar Fest at the Disneyland Resort. This celebration of all that is Pixar ran from April 26 through August 4, 2024. The parade was presented at Disney California Adventure. It is unknown at this time where the parade will be presented when it is remounted.
Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration is full of Pixar characters. If it is the same as during Pixar Fest, this will include the following characters:
- Pixar Lamp/Luxo Jr. (kind of a character, right!?)
- Turning Red – Red Panda Mei Lee and her father Jin Lee, her friends Miriam, Priya, Abby, and also 4*Town
- Up – Carl Fredricksen, Russell, Kevin, and Dug
- Soul – Joe Gardner and 22
- Inside Out – Joy and Sadness aboard Bing Bong’s wagon with Bing Bong behind them.
- Luca – Luca, Alberto and Giulia in beautiful Portorossa, Italy
- The Incredibles – Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, and Frozone
- Toy Story – Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear
- Coco – Miguel and Dante
- Monsters, Inc. – Mike Wazowski and Sulley
