On this day in 1920, entertainer and Disney Legend Wally Boag was born. “The Clown Prince of Disneyland,” Boag is best known for his iconic role as Pecos Bill in “The Golden Horseshoe Revue,” a show that ran for nearly 27 years and 40,000 performances. Did you know he also voiced Jose the Audio-Animatronic parrot for “Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room?” Later, he made appearances in ‘The Absent-Minded Professor,’ ‘Son of Flubber,’ and ‘The Love Bug.’
