Walt Disney World Resort announced today that Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park will be reopening on November 4, 2024. This will be the day after Typhoon Lagoon closes for the season on November 3, 2024.
Blizzard Beach is a water park that offers the chance for guests to enjoy some summer fun (which Florida has basically year round) with a winter theme. There are water attractions, dining options, and other activities for guests to enjoy when they visit.
Disney Water Parks Seasonal Pass
Disney also announced the return of the Disney Water Parks Seasonal Pass. This pass is available for $79 plus tax. It provides the opportunity for guests to visit the water parks regularly and this limited-time offer provides admission through May 23, 2025. This does give the opportunity for guests to enjoy Typhoon Lagoon through November 3rd and then Blizzard Beach after that. The Disney Water Parks offer free parking throughout the year as well. This makes it easy for guests to return multiple times. More information about the seasonal pass can be found on DisneyWorld.com.
About Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
lizzard Beach at Walt Disney World Resort brings to life the theming of a ski resort which has melted in the Florida sun, allowing guests to enjoy the unique combination of snowy fun and warm Florida sunshine year-round, and just in time for the holiday season.
Whether guests are seeking thrills or relaxation, Blizzard Beach provides something for everyone and is a unique twist on watery fun this holiday season. Younger guests can splash and play in the “Frozen”-themed Tike’s Peak, where they’ll find wading pools featuring “melting” snow with Anna, Elsa, Olaf and the “Snowgies.” This playful area allows little ones to explore and enjoy the magic of Arendelle, while enjoying the benefit of heated water.
Blizzard Beach also boasts the Summit Plummet water slide, where guests can ascend to its 12-story peak before plunging 360 feet into warm white water. For those looking to unwind, Cross Country Creek offers a peaceful float along the 3,000-foot lazy river, winding through the park’s scenic landscapes.
