The TVA, or Time Variance Authority, is an organization that was originally created by He Who Remains. It is located out of time and space and originally served as a temporal law enforcement agency. It was tasked with preserving the Sacred Timeline. However, after the events in season two of Loki, things changed. Loki decided to destroy the temporal loom and allow the Multiverse to flourish. With this change, the focus of the TVA changed as well. It now monitored the Multiverse and also tracked down Variants of He Who Remains.
The TVA also made an appearance at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. This experience allowed guests to be able to see the TVA and walk through it. This included getting to see through different portals to different events that have been shown in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Along the way, guests would also get a chance to meet and interact with Rocket Raccoon. The tour of the TVA also gives a look at Agatha All Along as well. At the end, guests are given a card determining what their role would be in the TVA.
