Tiana’s Bayou Adventure now has an opening date. During the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, the date was revealed. Surprisingly enough, it was not revealed by Disney Experience Chairman Josh D’Amaro. It also wasn’t revealed by anyone from Walt Disney Imagineering. In fact, it wasn’t revealed by anyone in leadership from The Walt Disney Company. Instead, the date was revealed during a song and dance number that took place during the showcase.
During the number, Darren Criss and Skylar Astin shared quite a lot of noteworthy news. One of the noteworthy news items was that the opening date at Disneyland for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be on November 15, 2024.
Along with announcing the opening date for this attraction. It was also announced that Critter Country will become Bayou Country. Bayou Country will not only be where guests go to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It will also be where they experience The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and the Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes. For those that are hungry, they will be able to dine at the newly reimagined Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree. Further into the land, guests will be able to shop at Ray’s Berets, and Louis’ Critter Club, or grab some sweet treats from Pooh Corner.
