On this day in 2009, on the 40th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion’s opening at Disneyland, a family spent the night inside the attraction! The Sutton family of Santa Clarita, California won the special stay from a radio station contest. Their adventure started when the park closed and lasted until 6AM. Beds were set up in the stretching room and otherworldly visitors made appearances throughout the night. The event was even live streamed online! [15 years ago in 2024]
