On this day in 1990, ‘DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp’ was released in theaters. Scrooge McDuck goes on an expedition to Egypt with Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, and Launchpad McQuack. They search for the lost treasure of Collie Baba, but find more than they bargained for! ‘DuckTales the Movie’ was Disney’s first animated film to come out of a TV series. As a result, it was created by the Television Animation division, not Feature Animation.
