Tiana's Bayou Adventure

Ways To Celebrate Princess Tiana at Walt Disney World and Disneyland

The opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World is coming soon! To celebrate the opening, here are some ways to celebrate Princess Tiana’s story at Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort. From food to merchandise, entertainment and more – expect magic, joy and a whole lot of fun.

One way to celebrate is by riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The attraction will open with a virtual queue on June 28. You can request to join through the My Disney Experience app at 7:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. It will also be included as a Lightning Lane entrance in the Disney Genie+ service. There is still no set date for the opening of the attraction at Disneyland. Stay tuned to Daps Magic for more information once the official opening date is revealed.

Those at Walt Disney World can stop by the Port Orleans Resorts and enjoy a small piece of the Crescent City. From the New Orleans-inspired architecture and the horse-drawn carriage rides along the waterfront, to the swingin’ jazz scene at the Scat Cat Lounge and seasonal beignet flavors at Scat Cat Club Café, you’ll be sure to pass a good time in true Louisiana style, just like Tiana.

If you’re at Magic Kingdom bright and early, you may see Princess Tiana as she drops on into the Let the Magic Begin Welcome Show in front of Cinderella Castle.

Don’t forgot to watch Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire at Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, along with the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. At Disneyland, you can see Tiana roaming around New Orleans Square, and even take a cruise on the Mark Twain Riverboat. You can also wave to Tiana and Prince Naveen in the Magic Happens Parade.

From savory to sweet, salty, and spicy – Disney’s culinary teams have crafted some Bayou-inspired dishes to enhance your visit. For those craving a bite of something sweet, stop by Golden Oak Outpost in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom from June 28 through August 8 to savor Tiana’s Famous Beignets: light, sweet, and fluffy beignets dusted with powdered sugar and drizzled with honey. If you’re looking to enjoy some delicious gumbo, you can check out the newly reopened 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World. Over at Disneyland, you can enjoy some New Orleans inspired delicacies and beignets at Tiana’s Palace in New Orleans Square.

Those looking for some merchandise can check out the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure merchandise collection. You can get your hands on so many things – apparel, accessories, ear headbands, toys, plushies, and more! You can find the merchandise at Emporium on Main Street at Magic Kingdom. Shortly after the attraction debuts, the merchandise will hop over to Critter Co-Op in Frontierland. When shopping, be sure to keep your mobile device handy because you can use Merchandise Mobile Checkout at both the Emporium and Critter Co-Op.

As Tiana sang in the song “Almost There,” “People gonna come here from everywhere, and I’m almost there.” Tiana and Friends eagerly await guests’ arrival at Walt Disney World to celebrate the debut of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, along with all the exciting ways that Tiana is being celebrated this summer!
