Trader Sam’s To Release New Limited Edition Matterhorn 65th Anniversary Abominable Snowman Mug Tiki Mug at Disneyland Resort

June 14, 2024 is the 65th anniversary of the Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland. To commemorate this milestone, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Resort will be releasing a limited edition Abominable Snowman Matterhorn Tiki Mug on June 20th! They will be available through the Disneyland App in the Trader Sam’s Mug Release listing.

The Matterhorn 65th Anniversary Abominable Snowman Mug comes with a Cocunut-Pineapple DOLE Whip. Doug P’Gosh, the artist behind the Tiki Mug will also be on hand for signings as well on the 20th. Here is the information about the signing:

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM PST

Mobile ordering for this new Tiki Mug will begin as early as 6:00 AM PST on the morning of June 20, 2024. The earliest arrival window for pickup is at 8:00 AM PST. Pickup windows will be available throughout the day until 5:00 PM PST. Following the release day, the Tiki Mug will be available at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar on June 21st.

It is important to note that there is a limit of two Matterhorn 65th Anniversary Abominable Snowman Mugs per order. It is equally important to note that these will only be available while supplies last. There is a distinct possibility that they will sell out quick. The Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland opened on June 14, 1969, the same day as the Submarines and Monorail. It takes guests on a wild ride down the twisted slopes of a recreation of the Matterhorn Mountain right in the heart of Disneyland. It was the first roller coaster of its kind and remains a fan favorite today.
