Summer is upon us and it is the best time to get out and play. To help encourage this, Disney has released new product collections for preschool-aged children from across several of its popular brands. These new toys are designed to bring “the magic and joy of storytelling into the homes of young families.” They are inspired by hit Disney Jr. hit series like Super Kitties, Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends, and even the upcoming Disney Jr.’s Ariel.
Disney Consumer Products worked with researchers at the University of Southern California (USC) to understand why play is so critical for preschool children. According to research that was compiled by this team, play fosters development and growth. It also boosts thinking, improves language and storytelling skills, and more.
These new toys have been created by Hasbro and Just Play and include interactive singing and dancing toys, dolls, and large-scale playsets. They are designed to promote fun and learning, spark imagination, and inspire curiosity throughout the summer while school is out. Four new items below are now available for pre-order!
- Hasbro’s Dance ‘N Crawl Spidey plush – inspired by Disney Jr.’s “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends”
