As Disney Experiences celebrates Halfway to Halloween, spooky details about many different things are being revealed. Along with sharing dates for Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party at the Disneyland Resort and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World Resort, details are also being shared about the Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Treasure.
Appropriately enough, Disney Cruise Line is revealing some new spooky décor details coming to the Haunted Mansion Parlor aboard the Disney Treasure. This ship, which sets sail this December, is going to be chocked full of adventures of all sorts. In the Haunted Mansion Parlor, it was revealed that there will be a ghost fish aquarium and also an eerie portrait gallery. This will be a destination aboard this ship where guests will want to spend time simply exploring this haunted space and absorbing its eerie ambiance. The following video was shared showing off this parlor.
Disney also shared concept art of some of the things that will be seen in this Haunted Mansion Parlor as well. They give a feel for what the space will feel like and also some of the artwork that will be found in it. Look closely and there are some things that are very familiar to fans of the Haunted Mansion attraction. There are also some things that are similar… yet a bit different as well. This looks like it will be a VERY fun location aboard the Disney Treasure when it begins taking guests on adventures later this year.
About the Disney Treasure
The Disney Treasure is the sixth ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet. It is the second ship in the Wish-class in the fleet and is scheduled to take guests on its maiden voyage on December 21, 2024. She will be followed by the Disney Destiny, a sister ship who will join the fleet in 2025. This ship was officially announced as the Disney Treasure at the 2022 D23 Expo.
Its theme for the Disney Treasure is based on Adventure. Its inspiration comes from multiple Disney stories and characters with adventure being the foundation for both the theme of the ship from an architectural standpoint and an experience standpoint. The newest Disney Cruise Line ship will honor Walt Disney’s legendary passion for exploration and travel. When guests board the Disney Treasure, they will notice that there are some favorite spaces that are found on the sister ship Disney Wish, that are also infused with the theme of adventure and inspired by favorite Disney stories. This includes Aladdin, Coco, and Zootopia to name a few!
The ship will offer incredible amenities, dining locations, broadway-style entertainment, and Disney magic when guests board her later this year. She truly will be a dream come true for those who sail aboard her. The Disney Treasure is destined to be a treasure chest full of magical experiences for those who spend time aboard her.
