The first teaser trailer for Moana 2 was released by Disney today. The trailer shows the beginnings of what will be a new adventure for Moana. While there aren’t many huge plot reveals in this teaser, it does give some ideas about what this movie will be like. It does see the return of Auli‘i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson as Moana and demigod Maui. It also is a musical, but songs have not been revealed it. There is music that appears to be from the film included in the teaser, though. The film will be arriving in theaters on November 27, 2024. Check out the teaser trailer below!

So What Do You Think?

This is a fun trailer that gives a look at what the world of Moana will be like when she returns. Other than the lightning bolt, it doesn’t appear that there are many HUGE scenes from the film in this. I prefer it this way. I’d rather not know the entire movie before I see it. This teaser also doesn’t give away the songs yet, either. I’m ok with that as well. What is shown is the return of some favorite characters, some cute moments, and some fairly impressive animation. I liked that it didn’t give away too much. I like that we are seeing an older Moana. The moment where Moana and Maui reunite was also quite amusing.
