Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point will soon be welcoming guests from the Disney Cruise Line to this magical island paradise. When it opens on June 6th, guests won’t just be experiencing a beautiful location. They will also be able to have some incredible food and beverage offerings that come with it! They will get to experience the flavors of The Bahamas and some other favorites!
With sustainability in mind, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point will also be offering the food and beverages in new ways. This is because Disney Cruise Line is committed to sending zero waste to landfills. One thing that will be different is that all service ware will be reusable. For example, there will be stainless steel cups at the island destination’s food and beverage locations.
The food that is served on the reusable service ware looks to be delicious. Take a look below at what the Disney Cruise Line has revealed for the menu!
- Bahamian Pigeon Peas & Rice with marinated chicken, oven-baked plantains, and fried okra
- Grilled Cheeseburger on a brioche bun with shredded iceberg lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, and pickles with french fries with American coleslaw
- Disney Lookout Cay Spiced Rotisserie Chicken marinated with Bay Leaves, onion, sweet pepper, lime, thyme, and goat pepper with grilled pineapple and black bean salad
- Plant-based Island Curry with tofu, cilantro, and potatoes (Plant-based)
- Bahamian-style Lime marinated grilled snapper with sautéed pickled vegetables yucca fries
- Grilled BBQ Ribs with “smoky BBQ” sauce, grilled corn, and yucca fries
Along with the delicious eats that are seen above! There will also be some refreshing sips to enjoy at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. This will include a variety of ice-cold beverages that will be served at Mangroves and Go, Blue Hole Bar, Bow and Ribbon Bar, Watering Hole, Reef and Wreck Bar, and Sandsational Smoothies. Yes, there are a lot of options!
This variety of spots will feature Bahamian-inspired drinks along with the classic cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages guests enjoy. There will also be select drinks that include locally sourced products to provide for an authentic beverage experience. There is also a Disney Lookout Cay signature cocktail! This is the Eleuthera Euphoria. It is made of rum, pineapple smoothie mix, and DOLE Whip. There are also some other things that can’t be missed:
- Bahama Brew: Cold brew coffee blended with Hawaiian island syrup, cold brew, finished with a coconut flavored soft whip topping (Non-alcoholic beverage)
- Butterfly Switcha: Specialty Mocktail made with lemonade, butterfly pea jasmine green tea, and a sprinkle of blue edible glitter (Non-alcoholic beverage)
- Eleuthera Euphoria: Disney Lookout Cay Signature Cocktail made with premium aged rum, pineapple smoothie and DOLE Whip
