Disneyland Paris is seeing a fairly significant transformation. On April 12, 2024, its 32nd anniversary, it was announced that the name of Walt Disney Studios Park will be changing to Disney Adventure World. This change will coincide with the opening of the park’s new World of Frozen. With this name change comes a whole new vision of the park that will transform the experience guests have from the moment they walk in. Some of the new experiences that will be coming to the park include entertainment.
Disneyland Paris announced some new and exciting entertainment offerings that will be arriving very soon at Walt Disney Studios Park. This includes Broadway-caliber entertainment and another Marvel-ous offering.
Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland
First off, Disneyland Paris announced a new musical extravaganza that will be debuting this spring. It is based on Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Alice in Wonderland. However, it will be much different than what is remembered from the animated flick. Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland will debut on May 25th and promises to have Alice, the Queen of Hearts, and others return to Wonderland. Once there, two teams will “go head-to-head in a high-energy showdown, with high-flying acrobats pushing their limits, and two alternative endings decided by the audience!” Disney shared that “It’s a chance for audiences to discover a new story of Alice and the Queen of Hearts, in an ultra-colorful, pop-rock face-off!”
Marvel Avengers Campus Nighttime Activation
Over at Marvel Avengers Campus, the end of 2024 will see the arrival of a new nighttime activation. This new experience will come to life every evening in the Worldwide Engineering Brigade building until the spring of 2025. It promises to be an engaging experience that will combine projections, music, and special effects along with a new storyline that features favorite and also new-to-Disneyland Paris Marvel characters.
These two new entertainment offerings are just some of the new offerings coming to Disneyland Paris in the near future. The reimagining of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure Park is just the beginning. There are also updates coming to Disney Village and the Disney hotels at Disneyland Paris.
